Hannover Fist
Hannover Fist is the band I have been in the last 25 years. The name comes from an obscure character from the movie 'Heavy Metal'. It currently consists of myself on drums, my brother on rhythm guitar, Mike Stanford on vocals and guitar, and Pam Fischhaber on bass and vocals. Originally it consisted of myself, my brother, Dave Voglar on lead vocals and guitar, and I do not even remember who was on bass. The band has been through more bass players than Spinal Tap has drummers.

Custom Yamaha Set
This set I pretty much made from scratch. I took all the hardware from two Yamaha Stage Series sets. One of the sets was my first set I bought with my own money. Also I really like the hardware style in both looks and functionality. Next I bought a set of shells and coverings from Percession Drum. The shells are 8 ply Maple and the covers are Jet Black. It took about a week to wrap the shells and add the hardware. Overall I am very happy with the results. I also bought a huge 80s style Gilbralter drum rack pretty cheap off Ebay. I now have the kit I have wanted for a long time and spent a fraction of the price.

I also play with Ahead Lars Urlich series drumsticks. I have been using them the last 3 months and I am very happy with them. Before these, I played Vic Firth Rock series. The Ahead sticks are just a little smaller in diameter, about the same in length, but weigh a bit more than the Vic Firth. Though the Ahead sticks cost about 3 times more than a pair of Vic Firth, they last well over 3 times. Plus they do not break during a song.
